I am Janelle Slater, a creator
I’m a UX designer with a lifelong love for creating meaningful projects—especially those that make a positive impact on others. From a young age, I’ve been drawn to building and refining ideas, and I thrive on exploring new approaches, even when they push me outside my comfort zone. UX design keeps me engaged because no two days—or problems—are ever the same.
I am a wife, and a mother
I married young, and becoming a wife and mother has been the most meaningful part of my life. I welcomed my daughter at 21 and plan to continue growing my family. Providing stability, opportunity, and care for my children is my greatest motivation. UX design allows me to do work that is both creatively fulfilling and purposeful, aligning my professional growth with my commitment to my family.
There is no greater motivator than family—and it pushes me to design thoughtfully, work hard, and continually improve.
